Carabao is a Filipino Water Buffalo, a much needed companion for farming. They were first introduced by Malay immigrants between 200 to 300 BC. The word carabao or kalabaw derives from the Malay word kerbau. Here they take a water break at the Yangil river that they visit daily near the village.

Send a note to a loved one or use as a mini print. Each postcard donates 1 fruit tree or vegetable plant, provides sustainable wages for agricultural labor and provides food security for the Aeta Yangil Village in Zambales, Philippines through our partnership with social tourism enterprise, MAD (Make A Difference).

Transformed into digital art by Filipina artist Shannen Carreos. Locally printed at a family owned business in CA, USA. Size: 6x4
