Mabuhay guys! I'm Sara, the founder of Kaya Essentials. Welcome to our blog: Sweet & Salty! I can't believe this is our first post (eek!) and I'm so excited to share what we have going on here.
So many people have asked me why Sweet & Salty. What comes to mind when I hear this? I close my eyes and I'm in the Philippines, on a beach, wavy beach hair, salted tanned skin from the ocean enjoying a sweet read, a sweet treat and just the sweetness of life.
On a personal note, Sweet & Salty celebrates the Modern Woman. We're multi-faceted, our personalities are not stereotypes. We can be both sweet & salty and only we get to choose and define what that means to us. S&S embraces all what life has to offer, the sweet & salty moments. We also saw a gap in the organic beauty space, where things operate in extremes. You're either a drug store lover, a make-up junkie or a wellness guru. S&S represents living a healthy balanced lifestyle. Everything in moderation, and you choose what works for you. We're not going to make you feel bad if you don't wash your face every night or however long or short your beauty routine is. You can love our essential oil blends for their therapeutic benefits, because it helps your skin or you just love it! Beauty (and life) is so personal to each individual and there should be no judgement.
So we're gonna do just that. We're gonna give you some sweet skincare & beauty tips. We're going to have those real salty conversations about our struggles as it relates to the Modern Woman, which basically encompasses life itself. We're going to celebrate every woman in her sweet & salty journey and share our experiences to help one another. We might even have some sweet coconut recipes. Oh, and salted coconut caramel popcorn!
To celebrate our Sweet & Salty blog launch, we've got something for you that embraces exactly what we're about. Preach this on your sleeve, on your bag or carry it as a personal affirmation that only you get to define the beauty you are.
